Holiday Simmer

Fill your home with the natural aroma of Christmas! If Christmas had a smell this would be it! Pine, cedar, cinnamon sticks, dried oranges, dried cranberries and cloves make up this holiday simmer. Simply place contents of bag into a pot of water on your stove bring to a simmer and then set he burner on low. You may need to add water throughout the day as it evaporates. You can also use in a small crock pot. I love putting mine in a small cast iron pot on our wood stove. The scent typically lasts two days but if you prefer a stronger scent there is plenty in each bag for two to three uses if you divide the contents.

*Once used it can be stored to use again. Simply pour the water and the simmer contents into a glass jar and refrigerate! If it still smells good, keep simmering!
